I'm trying to figure out the name of the company that produces
Jewel Natural Spring Water. I know that the water is bottled in
Michigan??? My guess is that it is produced by Absopure.
I also beleive that the source in from Jackson County Michigan?

I would really appreciate if someone has a link to a private
brand list.

FYI, Jewel Natural Spring Water must have changed spring source.
The quality and taste has vastly improved. :)

Absopure is indeed in Jackson MI.

Usually an easy way to figure out who the bottler is is to first look at the label - sometimes they will come right out and say who the bottler is. Or you can compare the source of the water to the sources of the other bottled water in the aisle. Usually whomever is supplying the PL water is also bottling name brand stuff.

The other way is to look at the code that is printed on the neck of the bottles. If it looks the same as the code on the neck of a brand name water, chances are, they are one in the same.

Usually that's just what I do. LOL
Next trip to the grocery store I will double check with
the other brands.

I used the same method to figure out that Springs and
a few local priviate brands were bottled by Coca Cola Waters.:)

Zabe, when SuperValu bought out Jewel from Albertsons, they seemed to make a lot of changes regarding the providers of the store brand items. We noticed that they changed the milk provider pretty recently as well.

That's probably what happened with the spring water.
The last time I tried JSW about 3 years ago, I could barely
finish off a case. It was nasty. Like you said, Super Value
probably for what ever reason changed vendors. All I know now is that
I'm really enjoying JNSW and the price is right too. :)

Supervalu has recently stated that with all the buyouts, they have too many private label brands. So I would expect that they would get rid of some brands, and consolidate production of others. I've already seen Albertsons Max Velocity energy drinks in other Supervalu stores.
