NO, more than likely a production issue

20-oz. bottles of Coca-Cola Vanilla are still in some convenience stores here in central New Jersey, but availability has always been spotty.

I liked the coke with vanilla a lot and happy that pepsi jumped on but damn me if they didn't stop making it..I remember ordering a case of it for my employee sales and then getting very disheartened at the fact that it wasn't being produced anymore in our area and hasn't been for a few weeks..damn non updated employee sales sheets!

I miss this stuff. I used to drink so much of it as a little kid, Good times.

i still don't understand why they went to the trouble to bring it back... and then just let it die on the vine in a few months.

i wasn't really a fan of it (in fact, i thought it was artificial and awful), but it seems some people REALLY loved the stuff. sorry you can't find it anymore.

Is it gone completely in some areas? I still see it here. I was thinking it might become a 2 liter/12-pack only product, there to satisfy the diehard fans.

it was kinda sucky anyway.

i don't understand why it's so hard create a vanilla cola that doesn't taste terribly artificial... but just like regular, natural vanilla. i could probably make better tasting vanilla coke in my kitchen.

They should really attempt a vanilla bean coke. Just adding the "bean" makes it sound so much richer and tastier. My friend makes vanilla bean lemonade and it's outta this world. In my mind now, every beverage is better with van-bean.

I for one think there's nothing wrong with mainstream sodas tasting artificial. Look at your typical "fruit" soda for example. I for one am tired of this "all natural" business - they ruined 7 Up, and this "natural" Pepsi I've been hearing about in other countries doesn't sound too appealing (why not just regular Pepsi with cane sugar?). Yes, mixing vanilla extract with Coke makes for a tasty drink, but Vanilla Coke has a unique taste all its own that I really enjoy.

By the way, I just saw some 20 ouncers with the new caps today, so I think it's safe to say that Vanilla Coke isn't disappearing in my area anytime too soon.

mjb1124 I agree with you 100%.

as far as Coca-Cola Vanilla, it is still sold here as well, I noticed some supermarkets and convenience store chains never carried it since it was relaunced last year though.
