Has anyone heard any news about a new Pepsi limited flavor? The last one released was summer mix(It was almost as good as Blue) which was of course last summer so I think that we should atleast see a new one by fall right? If no one has information now we'll just keep this going till an information comes about.

You said something that my mom would say. Like when you say "that tastes like crap" and your mom would say "how do you know what crap tastes like".

You may need to adjust the sarcasm setting on your computer. Yours might be on low.

Instead of creating a new Pepsi flavor, I think they should just bring back Pepsi Vanilla. I miss that stuff so much!

OMG that would be so sweet!! The blue should be a creamy flavor instead of berry. I don't know if berry vanilla pepsi would be good. But more like a blue cream vanilla! That would be good! Pepsi Blue was good too. I loved how your tongue would turn blue every time you drank it haha!!

The only Pepsi flavor(s) that I know for sure coming back (as an LTO) is twist. Both in reg and diet versions, as if there wasn't enough out of date on it the first time through.

I saw Pepsi with Lime in Utah a couple weeks ago. Regular and diet I think. I didn't even know they still sold that stuff.

I've done some research and found out a new pepsi is launching late August early September, called Pepsi kick-off. It is ind=fact pepsi with a hint of lemon and will be used to promote the start off of the 2008 football pro season with the first offial game on Sep.6th.

It is not a rumor. As I stated above Pepsi will be an LTO of twist. I guess I should have clarified it more to people who were not aware that Pepsi twist was in fact Pepsi with lemon.

I guess I should have clarified it more to people who were not aware that Pepsi twist was in fact Pepsi with lemon.Well it will most likely be just pepsi twist, but with a new name and NFL sponerhip it will sell pretty well. Although I would hope that they would at least tweak the flavor. As far as links to show proff I have none because I got this information from an employee of pepsi.

Around 2005-2006 I was in Tokyo twice on business, and would you believe they are nuts for Pepsi Twist over there? As in, it's the only Pepsi product on the shelf. Also of note it's sold in an aluminum can shaped like a bottle. Those wacky Japanese!

I saw shelf tags today for the NFL Kickoff Pepsi. And then I come on here and realize that it's already been mentioned - damn. It's also already on the wikipedia page.

I actually liked twist, myself.

I liked twist as well. I still have ~5 12 packs, although one got soaked by some other leaking soda in my closet (some 14 oz cans of regular pepsi sprung a leak and leaked all over a 12 pack of twist, and seeing as it was in my closet, went un-noticed for a few weeks, enough for it to turn pretty nasty)... Well at least i can stock up on some fresh product soon.

Oh, I would love to see Pepsi bring back the original
Pepsi Lemon "twist" from the 1980's. I keep forgetting
the name of it.

That was Pepsi Light. I'm too young to have tried that, but I did enjoy Pepsi Twist and I'm looking forward to trying this new lemon version.

Here's the Brandweek article (http://www.brandweek.com/bw/content_display/news-and-features/promotion/e3i39993a2e41be1552d02576a09ee0278c) about Pepsi NFL Kickoff.

In the article, they refer to it as "Pepsi Lemon NFL Kickoff", but the labeling clearly shows it as "Pepsi NFL Kickoff". Which is correct? :)

I finally found some and I got to say this stuff is pretty good. If you liked twist then you will love this and if you hated twist you will like it. More lemon taste and its not that strong either.

Had the diet version today and the lemon flavor was good, but the aspartame aftertaste was very strong. So I was not surprised when I looked at the ingredient list and saw no Ace-K. I'll have to try the original next time.

I got my hands on a bottle of this Pepsi Lemon NFL Kickoff (http://www.bevreview.com/2008/08/20/review-pepsi-lemon-nfl-kickoff/) the other day. (Or is it "Lemon Pepsi NFL Kickoff" or just "Pepsi NFL Kickoff with a kick of Lemon" it's hard to be sure just what the name is officially... even the bottle has it listed a bunch of different ways)

http://www.bevreview.com/wp-content/image_pepsilemonnflkickoff1.jpg (http://www.bevreview.com/2008/08/20/review-pepsi-lemon-nfl-kickoff/)

The ingredient list (http://www.bevreview.com/2008/08/20/review-pepsi-lemon-nfl-kickoff/) matches pretty much exactly to that of Pepsi Twist, with the exception being that Twist listed "high fructose corn syrup and/or sugar" and Kickoff lists just "high fructose corn syrup". There also was a change from the plural "natural flavors" to singular "flavor".

Not having an original bottle of Twist around, hard to say if it was the same thing or not, but it tasted pretty similar to what I remember (and original thought when I first tasted Twist (http://www.bevreview.com/2005/03/22/review-pepsi-twist/)). Though I also thought that the harsh lemon flavor was more subdued this time around, so who knows. We'll probably all differ on that opinion.

http://www.bevreview.com/wp-content/image_pepsilemonnflkickoff2.jpg (http://www.bevreview.com/2008/08/20/review-pepsi-lemon-nfl-kickoff/)

Overall, nothing special, unless you really want to relive the Pepsi Twist flavor experience.

One this is for sure... the label art is pretty horrible. Really, really bad branding. It's just a hodgepodge of junk on that thing! :)
