Yea I saw this in the store.
it has 10% vitamin e.
I shoulda bought it, but too cheap to pay 1.89.
The label is different.

That seems completely unnecessary.

Well I like the label better, better than the label before which reminded me of mountain dew circa 2000. only thing is the red circle should be a cherry.

When I heard that Cherry 7UP now has antioxidants, I thought it was the diet version, but now I see that is the regular version...

There is a special page at the 7UP site.

Cherry 7UP Antioxidant Orchard Sweepstakes (http://www.7up.com/cherrytree/)

It has access to a printable coupon and a contest.

Drinking a can of this in Diet right now...doesn't taste much different, though there is enough of a change that I notice it. Not better, not worse, just...different.

The regular Cherry 7up with Antioxidants is awful. They ruined the drink. Now has an aftertaste reminiscent of a diet soda. We have been faithful Cherry 7up drinkers since its introduction; but no more.

It's like the 7UP H2Oh! we have here in Argentina....

I actually think the new cherry 7up tastes better than the old one... I actually get a nice smooth cherry taste now instead of that bite it had before... I dig it... I still wish all soda was sugarcane though, mmmm sugar cane drpepper...

Cherry 7-up is one of my handful of favorites. I love the stuff.

There is one change that I dont think has been mentioned on this thread. If you look at the list of ingredients, it used to mention both artificial and natural flavors.

Now it only mentions natural flavors.

As a great fan of this soft drink, I think I like the taste a little bit better now. It tastes to me like the "cherry" flavor is a tad bit stronger. Not a lot...just a little bit.

Yeah, it seems like a lot of sodas are "going natural." Or at least promoting their all-natural flavors. The new graphics on Fanta Orange tout their 100% all natural flavors, and if you look at the old packaging, it has natural and artificial flavors. Wonder if they're doing that with all the flavors - I'm pretty sure that grape and strawberry both are artificially flavored currently.

I'm not a fan of making things natural that aren't meant to be. But I thought Fanta Orange tasted artificial to a fault, so maybe in this case it'll be a good thing.

In the past 20 years 7up has reformulated their beverage atleast 4 times.

Hmm... I know before the most recent "natural" formulation, there was the "crisp" one from around 1997/98-ish. When else did they reformulate it? I do know that the diet version has been reformulated countless times.

I just had a can of it. I didn't like it. Tastes really artificial.

From the images of the new Fanta packaging for the United States I have seen, only Fanta Orange has the 100% Natural Flavors designation.

i LOVED LOVED LOVED cherry 7up the old one. I refuse to drink the new antioxidants one...seriously it tastes like seltzer water. I emailed them and asked them why they changed it..they said they took it off the market because of the low popular demand. well they wont be getting sales from me anymore thats for sure :(

everyone write complaints so we can get the old stuff back!!!

haha i went to the stores that dont get alot of business and stocked up on the old stuff!!!

As a promotional effort they literally gave away 2 liters of this stuff in every farm fresh..I think they also PAID farm fresh for every 2 liter sold..all a customer had to do was pay the tax on it..many told me it was horrible..I refused to pay even the tax on it. A lot of it was left over..goes to show.

Low popular demand doesn't make any sense. Also, don't yell at us.

They ruined Cherry 7-UP the same way they did regular 7-UP. I have not bought a regular 7-UP since and I am glad I only tried 1 20 ounce New Cherry 7-UP. I won't be buying anymore. If they mess with Pomegranate I won't be buying it anymore.

Finally got around to reviewing Cherry 7Up Antioxidant (http://www.bevreview.com/2009/05/04/cherry-7up-antioxidant/) and was fortunate to compare it side-by-side with the old Cherry 7Up (http://www.bevreview.com/2004/06/02/cherry-7up/).

Um, what happened? This stuff is not very good.

It feels like a 7Up Plus/Diet Coke Plus/Attempting To Add "Health" debacle. I thought we were past that phase? Beyond that, they ruined the light cherry flavor from the old version. And heck, how unsexy is the name "Cherry 7Up Antioxidant"? :)

Another fine review Tannerman.:)
As I always say.....just give us the last
7up formulation prior to the current formulation;
IMO a great deal of core 7up drinkers will
return back to the fold. I use to relish the
old 7up. I miss it a great deal.

If DPSG really wanted to figure out a way to differentiate 7Up from Sierra Mist and Sprite, maybe they should consider the sugar angle. That's a very marketable taste difference that I think would be an easier sell than "now with Vitamin E"! :)
