Anyone have an ETA on Sprite Green? I've read early 2009, but this article even says Jan. 09 http://www.theimpulsivebuy.com/wordpress/2008/12/26/sprite-green-makes-regular-sprite-feel-like-a-fatty/

Word is it's been rolled out in two US cities, anyone know where/seen/tried it? Fusion, any idea for the Delaware area specifically? Thanks in advance to anyone with info.

Well,I have not seen it as of yet.
I have also not seen any weekly adds for it.
My gut feeling is that Sprite Green could
end up like Coke Blak.

I also have not seen it around here. I seem to remember the press release saying something about it being used in more "exclusive" locations like clubs and stuff, not overall general market... though I could be wrong.

From the press release:
...will be launched in two U.S. cities this month in distinctive 8.5-ounce aluminum bottles. Initial availability will be limited to teen and young adult-oriented locations and events with a broader rollout planned for early 2009.Full story (http://www.bevnet.com/news/2008/12-17-2008-Sprite_green_truvia_coca-cola.asp)

Nice find on the picture! It's always a plus to see physical evidence of something that has thus far only been proven to be a pipe dream on the net. ;)

Hey guys, I got a hold of a bottle of Sprite Green (http://www.bevreview.com/2010/03/16/sprite-green/) here in Chicago. Actually, pretty creative 12 oz. green glass bottle. Pretty attractive.

I really wished I liked it, but I didn't. The aftertaste is what kills this drink. It's not your typical "oh, it's just a diet aftertaste, so you have to get used to it" type thing. No, this is more like "I accidentally swallowed some hairspray" experience. Your mileage may vary, especially those more inclined to enjoy stevia-sweetened stuff. In any case, my review (http://www.bevreview.com/2010/03/16/sprite-green/) for those interested. :)
