Empty, unopened can

I have had an unopened, empty can of Big K lemon-lime soda for about a year now and I was wondering:

How often do empty cans make it into stores? Is it more likely to happen with store brands than with others?

Do people collect these sorts of things?

Is it worth anything?

Thats funny because just tonight I got an empty unopened can of coke in my 12 pack. I threw mine away, maybe I shouldnt have done that.

Sorry it's worth what ever the going rate for aluminum recycling is or up to 10 cents in deposit states. While it is unusual for a empty can to reach the store it is nothing special in fact many bottlers and breweries will sell air sealed cans in their gift shops.
