Hey all,

I'm going to be out in Vegas next month for a week and was hoping for some beverage recommendations. I'd be looking for interesting local options that aren't available on the East Coast, even older products that may just not be sold out East anymore as well. Additionally, if any new products that have yet to be seen everywhere nationwide are available in Nevada, I'd be interested in that too.

The one specific question I have is about what Las Vegas stores would be carrying Pepsi Natural, as I don't live in one of the test rollout markets but I saw that LV was on the list. Thanks for any help residents or recent visitors can be.

p.s. If you live in Arizona or California nearby, even your recommendations still might be things that I can find that we wouldn't have in Delaware.

Someone on flickr found Sprite Green in Vegas.

Go to the Coca-Cola Store!, there you'll find fountain Coke, Diet Coke, Coke Zero, Fanta, Fresca, Tab, Mello Yello, Pibb Xtra, Red Flash, Sprite, plus you can try some of the Coke products from around the world for seven bucks (that was the cost when I went to Vegas in january 2008) and also there's Coke sodas in the front glass vending machine.

Hey guys, thanks! I knew ya'll would come through with some good ideas. I emailed Coke about Sprite Green, and got a generic-ish response about it only being available at youth-oriented events, no actual info.

The museum is a great idea, and I'm rather excited about it, having read a few great reviews online about the world sodas test.

I'm cautiously confident Pepsi Natural will turn up at either Target or Whole Foods, so fingers crossed on that.

I'll try to take some interesting pics of any discoveries. Thanks for all the info!

The "museum" is in Atlanta.
LV has a Coke "store." You can get a sampling of world drinks but it's not like the museum, where you can drink all you want. At the store you get small cups of samples on a tray for a few bucks.
The Coke store is mainly Coke souvenir type stuff and the fountain is on the second floor.

If I am remembering correctly, the LV Coke location used to have a lot more, and then they scaled it back to just the store and the fountain. The person who posted the Sprite Green picture said he found it at that store.

Agree with the Coke store.

And adding this comment. Whoever is in charge of Coke's corporate sales in LV should be fired yesterday. On the "Strip" there are two main chains. MGM-Mirage and Harrah's, who account for all but about 5 casinos. Both are Pepsi operations, as are two of "independents". A totally unique situation contrasted to anywhere else you can name.
