I spent a few days in southeastern TN and western NC recently.
A person from Double Cola told me that Diet Ski and some of their other products were available at any Bi-Lo grocery store in Cleveland, TN. I went to both Bi-Lo locations in Cleveland (as well as a Wal-Mart, a Food Lion, a Cooke's Grocery, and several convenience stores), but there were no Double Cola products to be found. I asked one store worker if they knew where I could buy Ski and was told, "they don't make that anymore."
On a brighter note, Red Rock products were available in several spots. One Piggly Wiggly store in Ducktown, TN had Red Rock Cola, Red Rock Lemon Lime, Red Rock Grape, and Red Rock Root Beer in 12-packs.

The IGA grocery stores in SE TN have several Faygo flavors that I'd never seen before. Where I live, the only diet Faygo flavor available is cola, but in TN they had diet grape, diet orange, and diet root beer as well.

In Robbinsville, NC, I found Diet Sunkist Sparkling Lemonade, which I'd never seen before. It was very good.
Finally, citrus sodas must be really big in this region. Pepsi had Mountain Dew and all of its diet and flavor varieties available just about everywhere. Coke had Vault, Vault Zero, Vault Red Blitz, and Mello Yello available everywhere. Unlike last year when I visited the area, Sundrop and Diet Sundrop were also widely available. Only Ski and Diet Ski (which I was hoping to find) were missing in the stores.
I also found 1-liter bottles of Bubble Up and Dr Wells in one grocery store.
