I didn't think it was possible for there to be a drink that was worse than the classic Jones Turkey & Gravy Soda.
I was wrong. :)

The new iteration, Jones Soda Tofurky & Gravy Soda (http://www.bevreview.com/2009/11/24/jones-soda-tofurky-gravy-soda/), claims to be vegan, infused with Tofurky-brand fake meat. I'm not sure if that's really true, but some of the ingredients are rather scary (i.e. glucono delta lactone (acidulant)
This is the only new "holiday" installment of odd flavors from Jones, which seems to be backing off on that over the past few years. Heck, last year they only did three 4-Pack flavors that were pretty standard.
It's not that this drink is gag-inducing; it's probably more tolerable than the previous Turkey/Gravy combo. It's more that there's a hollowness to the flavor. It's empty, it's gross, it tastes like liquid plastic mixed with household cleaners. I mean, I know it's supposed to be bad -- they always have been -- but this was a new level of odd/bad. (My full review (http://www.bevreview.com/2009/11/24/jones-soda-tofurky-gravy-soda/), if anyone is interested)
Anyone else get the "pleasure" to try this stuff yet? (ha ha :) )
