Came across this today. Looks as if Jones Soda may be looking for a buyer.

Such a low offer, though. And I'm not sure how this fits in with Big Red's current portfolio.

In my opinion, Jones' time has come and gone. They screwed over distributors, and tried to go big with Walmart, and failed. I'm not even sure if the sodas are "cool" anymore.

IMO....not to offend any Jone's loyalist;
Jone's was a total niche fad brand that
did not appeal to the mass market.

I dunno, they pretty much innovated the "Turkey & Gravy" beverage segment :)

It sounds like Jones Soda's days may be numbered.

Their soda is alright. Just too bloody sweet! Why don't soft drink manufacturers save money by reducing the sugar? Everyone I know likes refreshing drinks over "liquid candy."

I think when it gets to the point that "Candy Corn" soda is attempted you might as well close down.

Then again, Faygo does have Chocolate Cream Pie.
