How come we don't have a chocolate Coke or Pepsi? I remember those flavor packs a few years ago that you put in on top of the cola to flavor it. One was chocolate and it was pretty good. Am I striking out here on this idea?

Didn't we have a thread on this 3-4 years ago? Shasta had a chocolate cola back in the 1960s that was pretty bad.

Dr Pepper Cherry Chocolate was bad, but I don't think thats really a "cola". I think there is a chocolate soda, just can't remembber the name of it.
Chocolate doesn't seem like a good mix with cola.

Did we have a thread on it? I don't remember. I think things can be flavored a little better now than back in the 1960's, or can't they? Anyway, goodbye.

I remember most Arizona's line of sodas in the mid 90's being rather good.

Canfield's has a Diet Chocolate, but no cola in it. Shasta also had a diet Chocolate in the 1970's, but it was nasty.

Arizona may have had a Chocolate Cola. I think an Almond Cola would taste much better.

wtf????? Why would someone ruin a perfectly good cola with CHOCOLATE?????? Chocolate belongs in the domain of Nestles Quik, not in a carbonated soft drink! ITS MADNESS I TELL YOU! And did someone actually say ALMOND COLA???? Do you drink that with THAI FOOD??? Crazy talk kids ;)

Not sure how it would be in a can, however in a glass it's great.
Anyone that remembers the old soda fountains would know. Thats were alot of the Coke variations came from, notably vanilla.

My folks often reminisce about enjoying chocolate phosphates when they were teenagers.
Check out this cool link that gives descriptions of the "old time" soda fountain drinks.
