View Full Version : Distribution / Retail mark-up

Hi - I am trying to get an indicative sense for how the price of a beverage in a retail store differs from the price the manufacturer gets. I've seen a few posts on energy drinks here that suggest a distribution/retail combined mark-up of around 100%.

However, I've read that energy drinks are marked up higher than other beverage types. Any idea how much the mark-up might be for coconut water or juice drinks? E.g., if a 250 ml O.N.E. coconut water retails for $2, what's the likely price that O.N.E gets from selling it to distributors? Is it around $1.0, $1.5, etc? Thank you.
