Where are these coming from, I have seen this newer mexican pepsi in 3 different stores. 2 small places and now Stater Bros. which is a big chain. They look like they might be official as the bottles are completely clean with no signs of rewashing, and they say Special Import. No white sticker at all which would be odd for bootleg mexican soda.

And in which part of the country are you seeing these?

I can help with this one! Picked up a few of these at a farmers market type store here in Seattle.

Made in Mexico, imported by Pepsi USA.

The bottle features 90s logos on the front, and the ugly new ones on the back.

Please excuse the picture quality.. camera phone.

Could you tell us the production code?
As per a previous post on the board, the quality varies
from the individual Mexico bottling plants.

Looks like Pepsi finally figured out what Coke is doing is successful - importing glass bottled soda from Mexico that's made just for that purpose, and encouraging people to buy from them, rather than the gray market/bootleggers.

Pepsi always seemed to be more aggressive against the gray market, while Coke was more passive.

I think this is a good sign, though. And the bottles do look quite nice.

I am surprised at the quality of the pictures, though. I use my work Blackberry Tour to take pictures all the time, and they're really high quality, unless the flash goes off.

The pics look good - probably the only Pepsi bottle I'll ever find with those two different logos at the same time! (and those two separated by a number of years!) Now I guess I'll have to hit some stores in Denver next time I'm down that way, hoping these will show up after the Pepsi killed the MexiPepsi inports a few years ago.

We now have West Jefferson made Pepsi here in central Missouri. Made with real cane sugar in a long neck. Very tasty.

Are you sure it's from West Jefferson? They bottle Royal Crown cola.

Yes it is. I deal directly with them. Pepsico finally agreed to let them co-pack Pepsi-Cola for non-producing Pepsi bottlers.

Heads up that the MexiPepsi was found at the Clackamas Costco. However, there were only 5 cases left and it did not have a dedicated spot.

Thanks for any help!

OR....could someone get the item number from Costco (I found one online but it was the Costco business delivery item number)? If I could get the regular warehouse number, i can maybe track down where they have it here in Southern California/San Diego.

thanks again for any help anyone can provide on this!

The C-Store a few blocks from me has the glass Pepsi, but I think the bottles were different than those. Will stop in tomorrow and see if they're still in stock.

I was incorrect. The bottles here are the same as those in the photos.

This is popping up everywhere, I even saw it at Rite-Aid.
