I saw it in 12 packs in Eastern Washington. Which is odd, since I have yet to see it in 12 packs in Western Washington anywhere. Is that going to change?

M Y is an afterthought for coke. they didn't push it and it doesn't sell much. it's a good product and probably is as good as mt dew but they don't advertise it or push it. if i'm wrong please feel free to let me know.

Selling really well down here in Maryland, especially 20oz.

The full rollout will be early February. Though many markets will not get 2Ls. Mello Yello Zero will also come out in the eastern US at about the same time.

Why no 2Ls in many markets? Even Mountain Dew Throwback is now in 2Ls.

Damn it, I want zero here. I love Mello Yello.

They briefly advertised Mello Yello in the San Antonio market but it never hit store shelves.

For some reason, I totally read the topic as " Did Mello Yello get a fruit roll-up"... and got to wondering what that would taste like.

Full rollout still on for next month, but Zero has been delayed until early April, unfortunately.

As to the question about 2Ls, they have 1/3rd of the shelf life of 12 packs, and create a larger liability for out of date/short dated product. We really got burned with Surge 2Ls, and less so with Vanilla Coke 2Ls.

A related question... for those in markets where CCR previously distributed Squirt, and recently replaced it with Fanta Grapefruit, anyone seen/tried the Fanta? I'm jealous, I had to order mine online. Hopefully the brand will eventually get national distribution, but I doubt it, because when it was called Citra, it was national, and didn't fare well in all markets. They eventually scaled it back, renamed it Fanta Citrus, and then Fanta Grapefruit.

Mello Yello here is the same as it ALWAYS was. 12 packs only at select grocers.
No 20 oz. , No 2 Liters, No Fountains... and I don't really expect that to change even though I wish it would.

The biggest reason Citra did not do well was because at the time Herbco (the second largest bottler for Coke) and perhaps Abarta did not handle the product. That was alot of area that never got to try it and it was poorly marketedl with CCE. I could see a full US re-release with a little marketing and it would do well.

Citra was everywhere here when it was out.

Nothing here in mid-Maryland yet for Sun Drop. I wish we would also get Cheerwine.

True... I went there last week and I didn't see any bottles of Mello Yello... just Vault and in few vending machines and c-stores...

Here in Los Angeles area we finally got Mello Yello in 20 oz, 12 pack cans and 2 liters. Saw Fanta Grapefruit as well in same packaging. Coke guy said that SoCal market may be getting Pibb here too. Also looks like DrPepper/7 up here brought back Ruby Red Squirt.

My local Wendy's has Mello Yello in the soda fountain. Mello Yello is often promoted in throwback bottles.

You might have to travel a little bit. I'm not sure if RC Winchester has plans to roll out Sundrop. Canada Dry Potomac has it, but 2L/20oz only. I had to go into Davis Beverage (Pennsylvania) territory to find 12 packs, and they were from Kentucky.

Cheerwine is in southern Delaware and eastern MD, courtesy of Pepsi Bottling Ventures. I think they cover the Eastern Shore, south of Cecil County. Their office/warehouse/production is in Salisbury.

Unfortunately, you were a few weeks too early. It should be out now, and easy to find. I hear Red Flash is even out in parts of Texas now as well, where Coke previously had Big Red.

I am starting to think the local DP bottlers are pretty big. Since we have literally everything they sell in cans/ or bottles.(in the case of big blue/red)

I'm not sure if RC Winchester has plans to roll out Sundrop.
I've seen Sundrop at several stores here in Frederick, and we're serviced by RC Winchester for most Dr. Pepper/7Up products.

Maybe I missed a couple posts in this thread, but what IS the deal with Vault? Is red just gonna give it the axe altogether? I haven't seen it up here in a long time, and if I did see it, it was OOD.

I love Vault, I hope that it never goes away. I wish I tried the red one though, I'm so pissed that I never had the chance to drink it. That and Ruby Red Squirt.

I wanted to follow up on this - I noticed at the store yesterday that RC Winchester is getting it (the 2-liter bottles at least) from the PepsiCo bottler in Purchase, NY. This is the same bottler they get their 7Up from.

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but I just wanted to let you all know that Mello Yello is here in the Houston area, although very limited. I've only seen 20 oz. bottles in some convenience stores. None of the large grocery stores have it at all right now.

Regarding Cheerwine, I read that CW is pushing for national availability by 2017.

In NEPA/Central PA, Mello Yello is still hit or miss. I've seen Mello Yello more at Supermarkets and K-Mart. Wal-Mart seems to not have a major push of this stuff in our area yet.

I've found 12-packs in some of the larger grocery stores. I don't think it's as good as Diet Sun Drop or Diet Mountain Dew, but my stepson loves it.
