Looks like DPSG is going to try and launch Sundrop nationally.

I would love that!!!! Although, somehow when they say "nationwide" it rarely is - we almost never get the good drinks here in Utah. :(

Sundrop showed up a few years ago, briefly in the Dollar Tree Stores but then disappeared. I thought it was pretty good.

Woo-hoo, I just noticed I'm a senior member now! :P

SunDrop arrived in the Northwest about six months ago (perhaps for the first time ever) in 20oz PET. It will be arriving in 12pack cans in the next month. I believe it's the 100th birthday of Sun Drop, and DPSG is giving it well deserved recognition.

Should be available in the Mid-Atlantic starting next week. I talked to a Canada Dry Delaware Valley merch today, he said they just had a kickoff meeting about it the other day. 20oz and 2L to start. I forgot to ask about diet.

It's the first time in my lifetime. Will look for the 12 packs. I want that more than anything. I will then drink one a day. So good.

I have seen Sun Drop in almost every c-store i've been in this week. Then saw a big display at my local Hy-Vee when grocery shopping yesterday. I bought a 2 liter of diet. I tried last night and loved it.

I don't suppose there's any chance they'll be rolling out the Caffeine Free Sundrop version nationwide???

SunDrop and Diet SunDrop have hit the south Texas market. So far it's only shown up in Target and Wal-Mart stores in 12-pack 12oz cans and 2 liter bottles.

Regular and Diet should be available nationwide in 2liters, 12packs, and 20oz... heard rumors of cherry being a possible summer surprise if things go well in the first quarter here but I'm not sure how quickly they could get product authorized in many chains or have the space to be cost effective without cannibalizing more than they already have to squeeze this in...

but hey its a great start with the nation media they will have for the next several years contractually signed already... I think this is really going to be a great push to bring a brand up in the rankings... whats next RC please?

It's here. Bought both regular and diet. Will hope hard for cherry. Love Sun Drop. DP is so cool for bringing it back.

PS: MY is available in 24 packs, but I passed. Will wait for 12 packs...preferably diet(zero).

Yeah, Davis does a pretty good job. I am near the southeastern end of their territory, so I go up there once in a while to see what's new. They had regular & diet in 12pk/20oz and 2L. Bottled were produced by them, cans were from DPSBG in Louisville KY. Most of their other 12 packs were from Canada Dry Potomac or Canada Dry Delaware Valley. I guess ABARTA stopped copacking for them?

Did you see Cherry RC? I saw it in Lancaster, but it isn't in the stores I stop at in their territory (in Oxford), though they do have Diet Rite Cherry Cola, which you can't find around here. It's coming from Columbus OH.
