Whatever happened to the nutritional drink that was going to change the beverage industry as we knew it?
It was called "PURPLE". It was an acai' berry based drink that promised a lot ( to its investors) but never really took off.
If I remember correctly a lot of guys jumped on board from Coke, Red Bull, and other major drink manufacturers as well as distributors.
Was it all a well orchestrated scam or was this a legitimate product that just couldnt find its niche?

Well I knew that part....I was looking for more on the story. I can remember pages of press releases of them sighning some major players to work for the company as well as having some pretty big athletes endorsing the product. They set up shop in some high end offices on Los Olas Blvd in Fort Lauderdale. I saw news clips on national cable outlets about it several times. Then ......*poof*....gone.
