Dr. Wells

After chilling in the fridge for several months I finally tried a can of Dr. Wells. A minor let down. Tastes like 75% of the private label Drs found in supermarkets. Starts off with a strong Dr Pepper like taste followed by a taste I can not describe. It's the second taste I find common to most Dr Pepper copies and that taste is why I don't buy knockoffs. Not counting Pibb Xtra, which to me does not taste even close to Dr Pepper, Dr Wham is the best knockoff.

My wife said the same thing. She said that Dr. Wham is the only knockoff that comes close to real Dr Pepper.

Pibb Xtra has extra cinnamon flavor which sets it apart from Dr Pepper.

Yeah, Dr.Wham is about as good as it gets for a Dr Pepper clone.
