How many current (not dead such as Dr. Slice) national or regional Dr Pepper copies are there? Not store brands like Kroger's Dr. K or Wal-marts Dr. Thunder. I know of:

Pibb Xtra
Dr. Wells
Dr. Wham
Dr. Denali

Is Dr. Nehi still made anywhere? It was pretty good.

In the Charlotte area, they have a drink called Doc Zola:

Doc Zola The keeper of Good Taste (http://pipelinebrandsusa.com/soda_brands/doc_zola.html)

I've been down in the Charlotte area many times, I wonder how I missed Doc Zola?

Is Doc Zola still around? I remember interacting with them a year or two ago regarding legal threats they had received from Zola Acai (http://zolaacai.com/). Lost contact after that.

I found Doc Zola in May, 2010 and tried it. I didn't think it was very good, but my daughter really liked it. I've not been back to the Charlotte area since then.

Dr. Better, from Virgil's

Doctor Whatever? I remember seeing it in the past, but I never tried it. No idea if it's a copy or not.

I thought I found a new one last week at a Lowes Food in Roanoke Rapids, NC. Dr. Pizzazz is the name. Label stated "Manufactured For Cott Beverages" which had me believe this was a national or regional drink put out by Cott. It was part of a line of sodas under the Pizzazz name in the section where Lowes had their private label line. Closer inspectione showed the UPC code's first six digits matched the Lowes private label family codes, 741643-xxxxx. The codes on the Pizzazz product matched the codes on the matching Lowes labeled flavor that had not yey sold down. Turns out this is likely a new private label line for Lowes only.
