View Full Version : Coca-Cola Plant Bottles

It appears Coca-Cola is now using Plastic PET bottles made from 30% Plant Materials. The plant material is Sugar Cane. I am totally upset by this as they don't care enough about their consumers to use Sugar Cane in their beverages in the USA but will spend money on it for the bottles they use. I do not care what the plastic is made of, but only what the beverage contains.

The plant material is molasses and the sugarcane plant, which are byproducts of the production of sugar. So no actual sugar in the bottle material.
But on a similar note, KP Coke is due out next week.

Passover doesn't begin until April 6th, KP Coke is going to have a longer run this year then?
Coke has gotta boost their sales numbers again....

No, about average. 6 weeks seems normal to me.

KP Coke didn't have a 6 week production last year though, it had much less (though some places had it earlier than others).
Coke should just have a few weeks where ALL 2 L Coca Cola bottles (from the producing bottlers, like Elmsford) are KfP to boost sales even more.
