Hey all. I was big fan of the Big K diet grape soda. It has been discontinued. I've since heard of the Faygo diet grape but have been unable to find it locally. I heard Ingles stores carried it but i went to one today and they told me it had been discontinued too. Anyone know somewhere in TN where i can find any diet grape soda other than the Diet Rite White Grape? Or maybe in nearby states? What's up with the disappearance of diet grape drinks?

Faygo's website still list Diet Grape. Have you checked Food Lion? They seem to have a large selection of private label soda.

If you want to spend some money, Faygo's site does ship Diet Grape. I'm sure shipping will be high.

Diet Grape Faygo is still available in the Ingles stores here in NC as well as in Sheetz convenience stores. The best diet grape drink that I've ever tasted is Diet Grapico. Unfortunately, it's only sold in and around Alabama.

Food Lion doesn't produce a diet grape or any other local store doesn't carry any. The Ingles i went to was in Farragut, TN. It was the closest one to me and it was about 1 hour 15 minutes from me. There is 3 more within about 30 minutes of Knoxville. I will try them the next time i am that way. Also the Ingles had some of the Polar drinks but no diet grape. Also how far north in Alabama do they sell the Diet Grapico?

Also i did find Zevia grape in cans and bought a 6 pack of cans for $4.99 plus tax but it was just okay but not really worth the price..

You can buy it directly from Buffalo Rock, but the shipping charges are steep. It still might be better than driving there, though.

There is also diet NuGrape. A brand that is fairly prevalent in parts of NC.
And in the northeast/mid-atlantic, Ahold stores carry diet grape private label.

You might have luck in the Tri-City area. Tri-City Beverages carries NuGrape, but I don't know if they carry the diet or not.

As for Diet Grapico... Buffalo Rock Pepsi has a distribution center in Huntsville. I am fairly sure that I saw Diet Grapico in Huntsville proper, can't remember if it was in Scottsboro or anywhere up that way. Huntsville services Jackson, Madison, and Marshall Counties, so Bridgeport AL would be about as far north and east that they go. I can only find listings for 2 Sav-A-Lots in that town, but Sav-A-Lot is Pepsi now, so you might luck out there.

Have you ever found Diet NuGrape anywhere? I've looked for it for years, but never found it. One small distributor in NC that I spoke with a year or so ago said that they had wanted to distribute Diet NuGrape, but were told that it was not available. I think it may be vaporware.

Somewhere in my travels I came across it. I remember the white fridge pack boxes.

I really, really want to say Concord NC, but I could be completely wrong. What is that cool c-store that you used to go to, drpep? The one with the checkered flag on the sign?

My brother is in Concord for the race, I had him grab me some Cherry-Lemon Sundrop. Can't wait to get my hands on it.

The folks at Sundrop Bottling of Concord were the ones who told me that they had wanted to distribute Diet NuGrape, but that it was not available.

I've been to that Checker's Mart. It's gone downhill. They have fewer drinks available than they used to have.

Yea, I was going to mention that Checker Mart has gone downhill but decided not to. Last time I was stopped in it was dusk and I felt rather uncomfortable there plus what the selection was not what it had been.
