The Charlotte Observer has an article about a Charlotte ad agency that is "gearing up to take Cheerwine national".

Read an article about them going to the Pacific Northwest, mainly through indie Pepsi bottlers and PBC.

Cheerwine has been available for awhile here in CA in glass bottles at BevMo, World Market, and certain specialty soda/candy and liquor stores. I hope Pepsi doesn't ruin the formulation by adding HFCS.

I've seen some limited promotion of Cheerwine at Kroger (in glass bottles), but it was only for a month or so and it disappeared again.
The only place I ever reliably find it here in Houston is at the Cracker Barrel restaurants.

Plastic bottles and cans are HFCS. Only the glass bottles are cane sugar. Same as in North Carolina, ever since I've known about it.
Pepsi Bottling Ventures about 35-40 minutes south of where I live distributes it. Otherwise it's pretty much just Cracker Barrel as well in this region.

Cracker Barrel currently has the 4pks of regular and diet for $4.44. Not sure how long that sale lasts.

I found Cheerwine glass, plastic and cans at a Sheetz in Muncy, Pennsylvania (near Williamsport).

Just recently came out in 20 0z bottles, last week I believe. I am hoping for 12 packs. Love this stuff. Bevmo and Fred Meyer both carry it here.
