Has anyone else heard anything about this? Also never noticed that Coca-Cola in Canada was sweeter, but that is what the article says.

Aside from changing the formula they will be reducing the sizes on certain packages, such as getting rid of 20oz (500 mL) bottles, and reducing 12 oz cans.

Has anyone else noticed Coca-Cola in Canada tasted different from the USA version? Because it was never offered in stores. We have the Mexican version, but that even tastes like they are starting to add corn syrup in it as well. When I tried Coke in Canada last time back in 2006 it tasted similar to the USA version from what I remember.

Anyone else know anymore information on this? Any thoughts?

Did you really have to post this in two separate threads?

Actually, 20oz are 591ml. They are shrinking them to 500ml.

I also read that the Coke in Canada was sweeter, and the formula change will bring it more in line with the rest of the world. Coke is trying to standardize a lot of things - use similar marketing campaigns across larger areas, use similar packaging, etc.

Coke Zero is now white Coca-Cola script with red Zero, instead of the other way around.
