ok, spring of 2003 more malternatives will be launched. are you ready to pay $7 a 6 pack for another test product in the novelty category or have you had your fair share of this segmant?

I don't enjoy most of these drinks. Sure, after you have drank a few beers, the malteranative taste like lemonaid or cranberry or what ever. But the first few do not taste great. Also, the space is just not there for another 5 brands.

the only ones my distributor sells are the following, in order of sales:

smirnoff ice
mike's hard
skyy blue
jack daniels hard cola
mike's hard cranberry

also rans: stoli, cm gold, sauza diablo, mike's hard tea. cm gold got recalled. sauza and stoli have been expired for months in our wharehouse and we are currently sending them back.

According to Datamonitor, malteratives are dead. I guess the next big thing will be alcohol-enhanced exotic anumal urine.

what's interesting is the expected price increase. those things only keep getting more and more expensive...
