The one I found 10 two-liters at last year mixed in with regular stock. I've been looking pretty regularly but had not found any so far. I got the items I went in for and as I walked along the back of the store I caught a bright yellow spot out of the corner of my eye. Only three, but if that's all I find this year, I'm happy
Why not let your fingers do the walking?
Call all the supermarkets and ask, “Do you have kosher for Passover coke?” call the coke distributor and ask what stores are getting it.
A supermarket will order it for you, they order special foods all the time.

I agree on your first point, the coke distributor knows who is getting Kosher product or has already gotten a delivery. 2 years ago I called and I could hear the lady at the distributor talking to a few of their coke reps who maintain the grocery displays on the radio, and the drivers told her how many cases each of the stores had as of that minute.

I don't think you'll have much success with special orders. Unlike regular grocery items, most stores get deliveries from coke & pepsi. There are distribution agreements in place. Also, most importantly here, the kosher product is only available for a few weeks out of the year. I worked with my local coca cola distributor 6 months before Passover and still couldn't get any Kosher product. They told me to keep waiting for the SKUs to appear in their sales system, and when they did appear they were not orderable because the product was already all made for the year and distributed.

There are a few recent ebay auctions posted, without a huge price gouge, although shipping cost is a factor. That's how I bought my first few 2 liters (actually a member of another forum shipped it and I reimbursed him).

It’s a little late now but supermarkets special order kosher foods all the time.
I used to live in a very rural area with few Jews (never mind observant Jews) and special ordering kosher meat and other products was the norm.
If you hurry and get to your local market they may be able to get it in before Passover is over. This should have been done two weeks ago to ensure you have your product by Passover.
The supermarket and Coke will be happy to accommodate you. They do not want to be accused of being anti-Semitic.

The supermarkets in my area have no shortage of KP Coke. It would seem that of the 4 markets I patronize their entire stock of 2 liter Coke is KP. The Pepsi on the other hand seems a little harder to find.

My arm chair guess is that KP soda pop has completed production for the 2007 Passover season. Like has been said by a few board mates, get what you can now as the supply of KP soda pop will not be replenished.

Yay! We found out that the Pick'n'Save in Shorewood had cans of Kosher coke - and the Pick'n'Save in Bayview - which we just now got back from - has the 2L bottles!

Now I don't know how many are left at either store, but we're definitely going back next year. We managed to get quite a few 6-packs of the cans and 3 of the 2L bottles. The 2Ls were out on their own in the middle of the aisle and had white caps and the "CRC" on them as well as "original formula", but with no HFCS in sight on the label, we figured they were the right ones. And I can see from this thread that they were.

    Pick'n'Save Shorewood: 4145 N. Oakland Ave
Also has a big kosher section, either all the time or in honor of the holiday, not sure which.

    Pick'n'Save Bayview: 250 W. Holt Avenue

Can anyone tell me if Atlanta is one of the usual market areas for the Kosher Coca Cola? If it's not, anyone willing to acquire and ship to me a few cans or six pack?

    Ditto

A word of friendly advice to board newbies, read the threads on the topics of interest. We have been posting about locating KP soda pop for a good two months.

I just scored a whole bunch more... the local store down the street has tons of stock from Chicago. The 2L are $1.00 now! And 6 packs of cans are not bad at $3.00, though I paid less in Chicago.

Mr Zabe & Lepke - Get your hands on the KP Pepsi yet?
