according to this article (towards the bottom), coke and godiva are developing a chocolate coffee drink. can a chocolate cola be far behind?

Chocolate cola sounds good to me. The Arizona Tea Co. made one about 10-12 years ago. I must have been the only one who liked it.

Last year they had the Flavor Rage packs that you could mix in your soda at Wal-Mart, and they had chocolate ones. Walmart also had (for a short time, apparently) a chocolate cola in those chubby 8oz bottles.

No. The drink that Coke is co-developing has nothing to do with cola. As much as I like flavored colas, we need to stop making threads about them.

personally, i'd prefer a chocolate flavored "soda" rather than a chocolate "cola."

colas aren't meant to be mixed with everything!

What would really be funny if they made "chocolate-vanilla swirl" (like the ice cream u see all the time) coke after they release/pull chocolate coke

I actually enjoyed Jones Soda's Chocolate Soda... Tasted like Tootsie Rolls... Not a cola though.

that's just my point. coke and pepsi should develop some new flavors that AREN'T mixed with cola.

a frothy chocolate soda... or a creamy french vanilla drink might taste better and sell better.
