A day of family fun! This 9th annual festival celebrates the RC Cola & Moon Pie. Includes a 10K run, games for the kids, Moon Pie Madness, parade, the world's largest Moon Pie, live entertainment and great food.

I've been thinking for several years about attending this. Its just to far out of the way for me.

I wonder when the combo of moonpies and RC came about? Being from the south, i've always heard about the southern experience, Moonpies and RC Cola.
