Going on a road trip to Pittsboro North Carolina
I'm leaving Sunday Night at 7PM
MY goal is to get some Diet Mello Yello, Vault, and maby some Sundrop (if I can find it)

I'll let you guys know what's going on in citrus soda land when I get back.

I'm Back!!! I changed my destination to Lexington, VA instead of NC. (A much shorter travel) Left York, PA Sunday at about 7:05PM. After seing 300+ miles of the Appilation Mountians, I eventually arrived in Lexington.

I first stoped in a convience store. Walking in I saw a Vault cooler. Inside it was a big surprise: Super Huge Vault Can's in ice (They were like double the size of the regular Aluminum can's) weird!!! but cool! Inside the store, I bought a 20oz Vault. And I also got a can of Vault. Stupid Me! I didn't buy any of the Vault Super Cans!


Next Stop: Wal*Mart
In the soda section of Wal*Mart I saw lots of Vault and Mello Yello. Then I saw something that made me jump (really). I found a six pack of Mello Yello (.5 Liter's) (17oz) (instead of the normal 20oz) Coooooooool!!!!! (You know I had to buy it)
Coke Consolidated Rulz!!!!!

I also saw lots of Pibb Extra in Lexington, VA. 20oz, Fountains, Ect

Couldn't Find Any Sundrop
Couldn't Find Any Diet Mello Yello (But I knew It's not availible in Virginia)

Spent the night sleeping outside Wal*Mart in my car lol!! And I got back in York, PA at around 2PM-Monday
So that's my trip summary... Got lots of Mello Yello and Vault. Yeah!
Now I'm back in boring Central Coke Territory. They have nothing
Sigh....

I bet your kicking yourself for not getting those super sized cans of Vault.

I like your idea of rough camping. Did you crack open some cold Vaults while you were driving?
(Stupid question as we all know your a soda pop freak. LOL)

Car Camping is great for me. The trip was about 5hours to Lexington, Va + 5hours back to York. So I took a nice 6+ hour nap break in the middle. (With The Other Campers/Trucker Drivers Sleeping at Wal*Mart)

It sure beats driving 10 hours in a Row!

I brought a lot of stuff with me: Alarm, CD Player, CD Collection, Change Of Clothes, Blanket, Snacks. (And Where would I be without my Road Atlas!)

Wow, that's an amazing journey! specially because you've made real your goals: to bring Vault and Mello Yello...

There used to be super-sized cans of Surge too. One of my fondest Surge memories is finding a big 24 ounce can of Surge at a convenience store. I was really thirsty that day because I was helping some people load wood all day. lol. That Surge sure was good.

Man why didn't I buy a large Vault can!!!!!!! It was Ice Cold!!!

it's the 25.3 ounce oil can baby.

labatt blue, blue light, and ice, as well as foster's and foster's special bitter are made in oil cans. it's a big package size in canada used for many beers.
