I ended up venturing out to an Italian deli & liquor store this morning. I was there to buy some cold cuts and groceries. I ended up finding a fresh display of GLASS quart Dog and Suds Root beer. Man did my eyes almost pop out of my head. LOL

Dog & Suds has not been around too much in my parts. As a kid Dog & Suds was a real treat! I'll report back after it cools down. [img]smile.gif[/img]

IMO...D & S is easy drinking,great tasteing root beer.

There is one grocery chain where I've seen it a lot - maybe Kroger? Usually in PET quart bottles though, not glass. I remember seeing it at Jungle Jim's in 12oz glass.

I have seen 16 oz. cans even in southern KY (no where near any Dog n Suds drive-ins). I tried it on draft once, in Paragould, it was pretty good.

Check out Metro Beverage. I believe they are the parent company. I have seen Dog n Suds Quarts (PET) at Dollar General
