As I was enjoying some chips and salsa at the Mexican restaurant by me, I kept staring at my bottle of Coke. "It sure looks smaller" I thought. Then I noticed, it is in a non-returnable bottle! Are these 12 oz. bottles new, or just new to my area?
The sticker says that it was bottled by, "Bebidas Mundiales, S.A. de C.V., Monterrey, N.L. C.P. 64290"

In LA Coke is now importing the "non retornable" bottle themselves.

In Vegas I saw a simmilar size bottle with a plastic screw on cap that looks like a 20 oz.plastic bottle 2, I heard Coke is bringing it over from Mexico themselves.

Wow! I didn't knew about those 12 oz. non-returnable bottles... and now that you put it along a returnable bottle, the bottle from the left looks thinner and the bottleneck looks different....

Does that bottle from the left says "No Retornable"?

Yep! At first I thought that they gave me a 10 oz. returnable bottle!

I can't believe it!!!

The glass is much thinner because it doesn't have to make it back to the bottling plant. It goes one way on the truck bouncing around. the bottle more than likely is narrower also, resulting in the additional 2 ounces.

That bottle it's amazing!

I'm not sure, but I think that Embotelladoras ARCA (the bottling company owner of Bebidas Mundiales, S.A.) decided to release that bottles because they were losing a lot of returnable bottles in U.S., and that returnable bottles cost money too, so maybe they released the Non-returnable 355ml bottles in order to send them to U.S. and mantain more returnable glass bottles here in Mexico.

What's the sweetener? (Either by taste, or by the label ). At one point they were using cane sugar, weren't they?
