Hey Guys,
I'm somewhat new here but I think this board is ridiculously interesting. You guys talk about a ton of drinks Ive never even heard of, and also about sodas I've long forgotten.

In any case, I was wondering if any of these interesting drinks are available in NY or in MD? It seems like they try out all the interesting sodas in the south... why is that? Where do you guys generally look for the more unusual sodas? And finally, is there like, a soda superstore somewhere that just stocks all the different kinds of soda they can find?

Per capita soda consumption in the South and Southwest is, by far, much higher than in the rest of the country.

Why is that? IMHO, because one, its warm all year round. And, two, alcohol consumption is lower, and in previous generations MUCH lower, than the rest of the country.

A higher demand leads to more soda choices.
