I can tell you that in the last Marketing Meeting about everything new for 2008 we were told it was put on hold so it won't likely be this year either.
. (Although thats what they originally told us in '06)

Maybe Pepsi is decided to wait and see how strong the anti-HFCS movement gets or something. Or how the market for "natural" products develops. I want it today though, but for me it's about taste, not the purported health issues with HFCS. Sugar is just plain better!
Give me some cane sugar Pepsi in a glass bottle!!

I believe the sugar tarriffs end at the end of December. It will be interesting to see what happens with HFCS being so high in price now and sugar about to plunge.

Basically the way they made it sound was that they weren't releasing something they didn't feel had the right taste, etc. So it was still being worked on, and no release date was even mentioned so it may be a while.

Pepsi Raw is the real deal... at least in the UK. No word on international:
It looks like The Press Association has the main story:Full storyPepsi is the latest brand to launch a new "healthy" option.
Pepsi Raw is said to be made from natural ingredients and contain no artificial preservatives, colours, flavourings or sweeteners.
The calorie content of a 300ml bottle is 117 compared to 126 for normal Pepsi.
Pepsi Raw has only natural ingredients including apple extract, plain caramel colouring, coffee leaf, tartaric acid from grapes, gum arabic from acacia trees, cane sugar and sparkling water. It is paler in colour and less fizzy than other cola brands.
..."By launching Pepsi Raw in bars and clubs, we hope to engage with customers in a new way and are confident that they will enjoy its sophisticated cola taste."
Initially, Pepsi Raw will only be available in selected bars and clubs in seven cities - London, Manchester, Glasgow, Brighton, Birmingham, Leeds and Liverpool, although a wider roll-out is expected later in the year.
