The Pibb Xtra website, www.pibbxtra.com, is a porn site. Unbelievable!

I think it'll be gone as soon as they find out. Wow, not smart, not smart, one great way to get sued.

My guess is they let the domain become available again, which, if that is the case, Coke can't do anything about it because it's not their property anymore, meaning anyone who wants it, including pornsters, can take the site as their own.

This happened to a site owned by a friend of mine. He quit the site, let the domain run out, and the next person that bought it turned it into a porno.

Actually, Coke *can* do something about it. Under internet law, Coke can sue claiming the trademark Pibb Xtra is theirs and get the domain because it does mislead consumers.

I bought some Pibb today and as always here in Indianapolis it is pot luck on what production facility CCE products come from. (Even though CCE has a canning facility here). This weeks Pibb is from St. Louis and the cans have a new advertisement theme for the product itself. Along the rim of the can it reads "Pibb Xtra A THIRST-QUENCHING EXPERIENCE!" On the side panel it reads "XTRA BOLD TASTE XTRA SPICY FLAVOR A THIRST-QUENCHING EXPERIENCE! PIBB Xtra." Has anyone seen any more promos lately for Pibb? Does anyone think KO might actually spend some advertising $$$ on Pibb?
