Diet Coke has a new slogan and campaign: Light it up.

The Diet Coke website www.dietcoke.com has a new design (and in the product line section, Diet Coke Vanilla is out of the picture , and Diet Coke with Lemon is out too, although both are mentioned in the history timeline)

announce.coca-cola.com shows the new Diet Coke print ads, here they are:

Camera
Microphone
Spotlight

it looks like they changed the logo a little. "coke" is now outlined in black, and the wave swoops through the mouth of the "e".

i like.

i also like how the can is pure silver... and not all cluttered with bubbles and stuff. it looks cleaner.

still, i'm a coke zero man. i only drink diet coke when i don't have a choice.

light it up sounds like a refrence to weed...

popologist, the logo was designed in 2004. the plain silver one was the previous logo that only lasted about a year. the Diet Coke Cherry logo was redesigned again though.

It's true, I saw this pic in www.canscollection.be, and there's some differences, for example in the new DC Cherry can there's red in the background, the cherry is now bigger and the letter type of the word "cherry" is different.

diet coke has a new design in the US. the cans are like REALLY SHINY silver. they look really cool. [img]smile.gif[/img]

(the caffeine free diet coke are REALLY SHINY gold).

where are these cans you are talking about? because they have been using the ones that are in my local supermarket since 2004. there is nothing about a logo change on their website either sadly.

can you post a pic of the new logos?

The only thing I know is that the label of the plastic bottles will be silver (as fusion mentioned before), but as far as I know, the diet Coke cans have been the same way since 2004 when diet Coke changed its logo... maybe popologist thought that the cans are different because in the print ads they seem different because of the lightning used for the ad...

ramon is right. i got confused! my bad.

i haven't seen any new cans. but the 20 oz plastic bottles have a shiny logo now. not sure if they'll change the 2-liter or not.

the logo is the same, i guess. it's only shiny silver now.

they really stand out though.
