We are coming on the 20th anniversary of the infamous change to new coke, and the subsequent roll out of Coca Cola classic.

Now that new coke/coke II is all but gone, Why are the good folks in Atlanta still keeping the "classic" titles and the orginal formula slogan?

Is it time to go back to just Coca-Cola.

USA and Canada are the only 2 places that have the classic name. Everywhere else in the world it is Coca-cola/Coke.

I agree the word classic is pointless. I thought Coke would have dropped the word classic last time they changed their graphics but instead they made the word classic bigger and in a new font.

Classic will stay for the near future to avoid confusion with the now recently fully discontinued Coke II.

They do it because it is the "classic" flavor maybe. Not Cherry, Not vanilla, Not C2.......

Or is it because "Coca-Cola" must be made with cane sugar vs. "Coke Classic" that can have any old sweetner?

Actually, that's the main reason I only have Cokes on occasion...the HFCS. If they used cane sugar not only would it be healthier, it would taste better.
