In particular, the cane sugar sweetened variety? I see no expiration date on my WJ Dr Peppers. I never remember seeing a date on the Dublins either. I would guess it would be a good deal longer than plastic.
I ask because we are down to four cases of WJ DP. It should be gone by mid-April. I would like to get more than I did this time, the next time I go up that way. But I don't want so much that it starts to get "funky" before it is all consumed. With gas prices the way they are, roadtrips are kind of a thing of the past.
I bought some 12oz PET bottles of Dr Pepper the other day and tried to substitute it in place of a glass This was the first time I have tried to drink Dr Pepper right out of a plastic bottle since I bought the WJ DP...it wasn't a very pleasant taste. I can drink it over ice, but right out of plastic, it tasted pretty nasty![]()
