We've never had Dad's Root Beer in the South. It's always been Barq's country here. We do have A&W and Mug, but Barq's simply rules.

I've tried Dad's while on roadtrips and have only seen the Root Beer. However, I was shocked to find the following at Big Lots this week! Nice 1 liter bottles and in several flavors. Is everyone aware of this nice product line??

I drank Dad's made with sugar cane out of a glass bottle during my youth at our local YMCA. Boy was that a treat on a winter Saterday morning. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I have only seen diet and regular root beer in our local stores. I wonder if the Chi Town Big Lots have the line up of Dad's that you have. Our nearest Big Lots just closed down a few weeks ago.

I think Dad's is my favorite root beer, but I haven't seen it in almost 10 years.

Yes, they are very good. I tried the orange cream last night and it's very similar to an orange creamsicle!

I agree,Dad's is on my A List for sure.
Chi Town has had fridge packs and cases for a long time. Just recently, I recall seeing those 8oz glass 6pks at the local grocery store.

I love Dad's because for a mass market root beer, it is very smooth and makes the best root beer floats ever.

at the big lots near me, thay have those, along with a blue flavor

also, is that red fusion i see behind those bottles?

I'd love to try tbe blue one.. I assume Blue Cream? Yes, that's Red Fusion..

im not sure... but if i go by there today, i will pick some up and try it... that store is right next to the post office and i gotta mail something
