I'm moving out to Madison, Wisconsin from Vancouver, BC and will driving so I'll be passing through Washington, Northern Idaho, Southern Montana, Northern Wyoming, Southern South Dakota, Southern Minnesota and finally Wisconsin.

I'm just wondering if there's anything cool to look out for beverage wise in those states worth checking out. It's going to be a long drive...

Check out the Returnables thread. ithastabeshasta discussed some that are right outside of Green Bay, WI and one that is the in the SE part of MN (and maybe one that is in the Western part of MN).

In Minnesota have Pibb Extra, Sun Drop and Killbrew which has a few flavors and is made from MN honey.

That thread is awesome too, those places mentioned in Wisconsin are within a 3 hour drive of where I'm moving!

Lots of independent distributors in those areas, including some small single franchise Coke guys, and Bernick's Pepsi (multiple franchises). I can give you more specific info if you're interested.

If you're taking I-90, you'll be going right through Rapid City, SD. Coke Black Hills is headquartered there. I'd be interested in a report of what they're producing there (as well as their production code), if you're willing.

Nothing really special in Wyoming. Although if you like Pepsi Edge, it's still on the shelf in some places here.
