My wife and I drove down to New Orleans over the weekend and picked up a few things. While traveling through MS, we see this beauty pulling onto the interstate. Where has this thing been hiding for 25 yrs???

One of the first stops, I find the new Saints bottles that just came out:



I find this sign on a pole:



In the next store, this fine display is set up as you walk in:



I begged the manager for a sign:

At another store, this little display rack is found.. they wouldn't let me have it



Here's a cool store sign. Notice the coke wave at the bottom and the coke bottles in the bag:





Now, on to the sodas! I stocked up on Red and Vanilla Creme!



I've never seen Mug Creme!

A few misc. drinks.. finally found Jazz in 20 oz bottles. Our Pepsi guy in Alabama says we won't ever get them.. so I grabbed these:

Great pics wonkapete! I'm in Hattiesburg, Mississippi which is only a couple of hours away from New Orleans. Where exactly did you pick up the Barq's Red Creme Soda 12-pack and the Mug Creme Soda 12-pack?

Josh, the Barq's was picked up at the first Winn-Dixie as you pass over the river (you can see it from I-10). However, you can find it in nearly every store down there. The Mug was found at the store, Dorignac's. The sign is shown above, with the coke bottles on it. It's on Vetern's Blvd in Metairie.

Why won't you get 20oz Jazz in your area?!

I've had Mug Cream... it's really good. I live in NY, and it's not in my area. But there's a lot of A&W Creme Soda, and tons of Polar Creme Soda, Which is regional.

Barq's Red Creme and the other French Vanilla cream soda are high on my want to try list.
