I know that 'Fanta Orange" is still around, but does the old "Fanta Root Beer" still exist?

I don't know for sure, but I'm pretty sure it's extinct. It's definately not in bottles or cans anymore, and I'm guessing all the fountains would have Barq's by now. Fanta Birch Beer is still around though.

I think that was one of the Fanta flavors axed. I can't find Fant Red Cream Soda anymore, either.
Life is too short to drink crummy sodas...

Give it a couple years, and I think we'll all be saying "Fanta who?". The brand is still a trainwreck in the US, and Coke's never going to get anything decent from it here.

I would be surprised if it wasn't extinct. It tasted like crap.. Worst root beer I've ever tasted.

Fanta Cherry spotted on tap in Royal Farms (Baltimore area convenience/gas chain). Birch Beer was spotted in Frederick MD area Roy Rogers restaurants.

There's a gas station nearby that has Fanta Red in it's soda fountain.

    Thanks for the confirmation guys.
I just wanted to make sure because I am now selling a rare "Fanta Root Beer" syrup keg (along with others) from the mid 1960's on eBay. Check it out here:
