    According to the 3-16 Wall Street Journal, Pepsi is "swapping" the ad budgets of Pepsi and Diet Pepsi. In other words, diet will now be the "flagship brand" at PEP. Sugar will get the much smaller ad budget, and will focus that reduced money on "Hispanics, under-25s, and low-income earners".

    Wow.

    Coke states that it will not do likewise and still considers Coke to be Coke's #1 product.

    I'd hope that Coke would keep a product that is named after them their to priority. I wonder how many times will Coke try to add something like peach, crabtree, or blueberry to their mix for a new beverage like they did with vanilla and lime.

    You know, I bet Coca Cola the product came first and the company came afterwards, but I'm not sure.
