I can find Barqs pretty much anywhere. They even have cans in the vending machines at my work!

In every Subway in town here. It's still good to me. The best Barq's I've had though is in Central Market Grocery in New Orleans, Louisiana. They sell it bottled and I believe it's with cane sugar.

I tried Barq's once and I didn't like it... but yesterday I went to Lagos de Moreno and I tried a root beer with vanilla extracts called Caballitos... It was good actually, it tasted like ToniCol, but it's too sweet...

Not sure what you are talking about since we live in the same region. Barqs isnt huge cuz Coke devotes zero attention to it but it does A&W numbers and bests Mug. I even see diet in cases fairly often.

Barq's isn't too hard to find in my area. It used to be HUGE, and I used to love it.

It is one of the *few* sodas that I think tastes better in a plastic bottle than a can.

I think Barq's is better out of a can.. the way the "bite" reacts with the metal.

I also think that Dr Pepper tastes better in a bottle.

I agree fusion. If I ever drink Barqs anymore I want it out of an ice cold can. I used to drink root beer, especially barqs quite a bit in elementary and middle school, but since then I just don't care for it too much anymore. It is still good every now and then though.

We have Barq's everywhere here in Utah. Regular Barq's is a little strong for me, but the diet version is excellent!
