Pepsi Lime, Pepsi Twist, Pepsi Vanilla...are they being discontinued like their Coke counterparts? I sure hope not!

In my parts, we dropped twist a long time ago, lime is filtering its way out and vanilla is alive and well.
If what you did yesterday still looks big, you haven't done much today.

I don’t think the big soda companies actually expect these extensions to succeed. I believe it’s about keeping the consumer interested in their brand and if one of these extensions takes off then great.

Lets look at coca-cola black. This product is obviously not going to have mass appeal and coke does not keep any product that is not selling well.
They did however get lots of news coverage, both local and national. And people are talking about it.

With all the extensions people are asking each other if they have seen it? Or have tried it? Thus keeping folks talking about their brand.

After all how do you create a buzz about a 100-year-old product?
