I'm a huge ramune fan, I was wondering if anyone else on this board felt the same way.

Thanks,

It's an okay drink, but I never thought it was too special. The one cool thing about it is the old fashioned bottle, with the glass marble stopper.

There used to be a melon flavored drink in an aluminum bottle that 7-11 stores around here used to sell that was pretty good. But I haven't seen it in a long time. It had an interesting cantaloupe flavor to it.

Hey, Shatter, I know what you're talking about!

I had it at the Seven Eleven 2 Junes ago.

You can buy it in Michigan at Meijer superstores. Good stuff. The same company also make a Strawberry that is pretty good.

Oh yeah!
I tried that too at the Japanese market.
It was a little too sweet for my palate.

But the aluminum bottle rules.

Does any U.S. can manufacturer produce a bottle like that?

But going back to ramune, it's a very "clean" tasting soda with minimal after taste. I would consider picking it up but as tasty as it is for me, the glass/marble bottle only holds 6.6oz of liquid.

I think Capri Sun makes aluminum bottles like that.

That's the melon soda I was talking about. It was pretty good. There's still an anime store across town that still sells it (for a premium). I go there sometimes for Pocky candy.

You're right Shatter, I bought a Capri Sun in that type of aluminum bottle rather than the mylar pouches that it regularly comes in.

Does anyone have any information where I can find a manufacturer that makes that type of packaging?
Thanks.
