A Dr Pepper clone web site has a listing for a product called Peppo from Coca-Cola. There is a picture but it wont load when I click on it. Anyone know what this product is? Is it new or an old test market item?

Peppo was the Coca-cola company's first imitation Dr Pepper type drink. It was introduced in the early 1970's and then replaced quickly with Mr Pibb in 1972 because of law suit filed by the Dr Pepper Co. against Coke claiming that the name "Peppo" sounded too much like Dr. Pepper. Check out my Mr Pibb web site's history page for more info on this at: http://www.misterpibb.com/history.htm

Hate to dig up old topics but enjoy reading them. Drpep wanted to see some Peppo. Here's my can and bottle of the stuff. It is a fairly rare soda to obtain.

Nothing wrong with bringing up old posts, as long as your name is not assclown. I still have a few questions buried deep in the site that I would like answers to.

Sorry to unearth this thread yet again, but thankfully my name is not assclown so I figured I was safe

We just found a six-pack of unopened bottles of Peppo, still in the original carton, in my fiance's attic. In searching the net for info about it, I came upon this forum.

Is this something that people would collect? If so, how much would something like that go for?

Thanks for any info you can give me!

No idea what it would be worth but I'm sure if you put it on ebay you'd find out.
