Yeah, both the package design and flavor come across as generic. It could easily be a store brand soda. They need to do a Mello Yello with it, and start making different flavors with it. Pineapple Cool Moon, anyone? Blueberry Cool Moon? Strawberry? They need to mix it up a little if they want soda buyers to notice their drink.

Cool Moon is made by the same people that make Cheerwine, if I recall correctly.
