Just a quick question - if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. I ordered a 12-pack of Jolt Red from ThinkGeek.com. It arrived today and I'm trying to figure out how old the soda is since I don't think they produce Jolt Red anymore. The only numbers are on the bottom and they read: PP6101 04:56 CT32 WV2. I realize I'm paranoid, but I'll be sick if I paid $40.00 for some soda and then I open it to find out it's flat. Thanks so much in advance!!!

i dont think it would be flat yet, as our woodmans had some jolt red still in mixed with the silver, and i grabbed one, and it was still explosivly carbonated. so much so, when i opened the cap, it went bang. but i have no idea how to read that code, sorry.

Whether you think can or think you can\'t, you\'re probably right!

If that code is on the same format as most, I would say that it was produced the 101 day of 06, then again it could be of 96. But I am not certain, we do not have jolt anything around here, at least I haven't seen any in a long time.
If what you did yesterday still looks big, you haven't done much today.

Thanks Saint - I guess I'll find out how "fresh" it is when I pop open a can. I realize $40 is a lot for soda, but the 12-pack is actually a 12-pack of 24 oz. cans, so if I look at it like I just bought a 24 pack, I can sleep better at night!

Very funny Mr. Zabe - Good news, though, I did live past the first can and it was awesome! Yes, $40.00 was a lot to pay for some soda, but Christmas came early for me. Now I'll just have to see how long I can space out the remaining cans!
