Hello

Have any of you fellow soda connoisseurs discovered any new good ice cream float combos?

Lately I've been mixing Pineapple Soda with Chocolate Ice Cream and have enjoyed the results immensely.

I recently tried a float called a "Snow White" which combines vanilla ice cream with lemon-lime soda, but did not enjoy this concoction nearly as much.

Does anyone out there have any good float combos (not including the root beer or cream soda + vanilla ice cream combos)?

Old school Root Beer Float.

Frosty mug of your favorite vanilla ice cream all bathed
in a generous flow of A&W root beer.

I've also found that rootbeer is the only soda that goes well with ice-cream.

I tend to disagree with that one. When I am at school, I eat at the buffet a lot, and sometimes I will take a glass, put a scoop or two of vanilla ice cream in, and then fill it up with Pepsi. It is one of the best things I have ever tasted!! I think I like it so much because I loved Pepsi Vanilla and it reminds me a lot of that.

Orange Crush and vanilla ice cream= yum

Here in the UK theres an american diner near me where you can get coke floats, everytime I go i get one, come back vanilla coke!
Also fanta-icy lemon is nice with vanilla ice cream too.

Dr Pepper with chocolate ice cream (much better than vanilla ice cream for this!). I call it the "Doc Brown" [img]smile.gif[/img]

Coke and Pepsi are pretty good with vanilla ice cream.

Look for the cadbury boys to intro A&W and Sunkist floats this year. I've heard they are really good.

My very fav is Vernors over french vanilla. YUMMMMMMM!!!
