while drinking some diet coke cherry the other day, i noticed that it uses an aspartame/ace-k blend. it also tasted pretty good too... better than i remember.

anyway, i was just wondering what other diets use an aspartame/ace-k blend. i know that coke zero does... and diet coke doesn't... but does diet pepsi and pepsi one? or diet dr pepper? etc?

and do all of coke's "zero" diets use a blend as well?

I'm not sure about this one. My first thought was the Diet Right brands but I think it's a splenda sweetened diet soda pop.

I'm sure one our diet soda pop drinkers will chime in and inform us. [img]smile.gif[/img]

To my understanding, Coke Zero has no extensions and it's sweetner formula has not yet been hybirded to any other Coke brands. I could be wrong. I'm sure MrR will have a better answer.

so, basically, only diet coke and diet pepsi have been stubborn enough to stick with aspartame only. i wonder if it's a contractual thing...

it's also interesting that all of their flavored variations use an ace-k blend.

it's probably only a matter of time.
