CCE also produced Melon, Boris. In their Cleveland TN plant (CV). Just wanted to clear that up.

CCE also produced Cherry and Melon from plant (HO) Indianapolis.

Also I beleive Huntsville Coke & United also did Cherry and Melon Mello Yello.

You're right about HO. I remembered them producing Cherry.. but I had forgotten about the Melon. I remembered buying some in the 3x4 12pks when I was in Ohio.

CV also produces Diet Mello Yello, as does Durham Coke. It has basically no taste at all, in my opinion.

isnt Melon still made by one of those other bottlers?

i coulda swore i heard its still made in indiana or something

It was made by plant (HO) Indianapolis, and shipped to Louisville, KY. I bought some a few weeks ago in Southern Indiana. It was in the 3x4 packs and was dated until Jan. 26 2004. CCE just switched plant (HO) to fridge packs. Next time I am downstate I will check out the situation and see if they have ran fridge packs.
