Makes one think. I mean, Inko's is a long way off from being entertained by prospective buyers, but man, I'm hoping to extend the brand into other things one day and if I sell it and it's killed off, then what?

Well, the O/FS merger happened before Coke acquired the company. Lots of times the smaller company will give up their brand identity, and go with the bigger name. This move really doesn't suprise me.

Yep,I was there. Quaker bought Snapple for 1.2 billion and sold in a couple of years for 300 mil. Sales dropped from a high of about 70 mil cases to around 30 mil during that time. Mike Weinstein (Triarc) pulled off a genious move with the buy. Peltz sold the whole company (Triarc) to Cadbury for a huge profit.

Fresh Samantha was too expensive. Mad River was delicious, but I've only seen it in CT (and I've only been there once).

Mad River is prevelant in the CCE Mid-Atlantic markets.. though they dropped 3 of the 8 flavors. I also saw it around CCE Tri-States (Cinncinati).

Anything from pepsi, especially Pepsi Blue.
